Your place in a season
Where a season awards qualifying places, each athlete gets their own page saying which events they earned, by when they have to answer, what the entry fee is, and their payment reference.
Confirming or declining is done here, and nowhere else.
What the page shows
Section titled “What the page shows”Opening the bare link shows only what is already on the public results page: the athlete’s first name, the tournament, the events earned, the deadline and the amount owed. No surname, no date of birth, no contact details.
That is deliberate — the link is meant to be forwarded into a family group without exposing anything private.
- You qualified, the athlete’s first name, and where and when the tournament is.
- The events you earned, each with its placing where there is one. These are fixed and cannot be exchanged for other events.
- The entry fee, if one is owed, with your reference — the code whoever pays for your squad will need.
- The deadline, in amber.
- Two buttons of equal weight: Confirm my place and I cannot take this place.
If you cannot go, saying so promptly is what lets the organisers offer the place to the next athlete in time.
Confirming or declining
Section titled “Confirming or declining”Either button opens a short form asking for the athlete’s date of birth — asked so that only somebody who knows the athlete can answer for them. Declining also offers an optional reason.
Afterwards you get Place confirmed (with the payment reference again, where a fee is owed) or Place declined.
Where an event admits everyone who qualifies, there is nothing to confirm and the page says so from the start: You are in the field.

If something goes wrong
Section titled “If something goes wrong”| What you see | What it means |

| “That date of birth does not match our records…” | Wrong date. Check it with the organiser. |
| “This link has been locked after too many incorrect dates of birth.” | See the warning below. |
| This link no longer works | The deadline may have passed, or a new link may have been sent. |
| “This place has already been confirmed.” | Already answered. The page will not silently reverse it — ask the organisers to release it. |
What this page cannot do
Section titled “What this page cannot do”- There is no pay button here. Even with a fee outstanding, the page hands you a reference and expects a coach or parent to pay through the season basket. See Paying your entry fee.
- You cannot swap events.
- A declined place cannot be un-declined here — contact the organisers.
- Answering after the deadline is allowed, but the place may already have been offered to somebody else.
