Fixing or changing an entry

Once you have submitted, you cannot edit your entry whenever you like. You can only change it when the organiser sends you a link, and there are two kinds. They look similar and mean different things.

Both prefill the form with your previous answers, and both leave your original entry exactly as it is until you press Submit.

“A quick fix is needed” — the organiser asked for a change

How it reaches you. An email, subject “Action needed for your … registration”, sent when a staff member turns your entry down and offers you the chance to fix it. It carries a What to change section in the staff member’s own words.

What you get. An amber banner at the top of the form with the organiser’s reason, then the whole form, prefilled. You can change anything — not only what they mentioned.

When you submit, your entry goes back into the review queue and the link stops working.

It lasts 21 days.

“Please review your registration” — the competition changed

How it reaches you. An email sent when the organiser changes the competition’s structure in a way that touches your entry. There are two flavours:

• Mandatory — one or more of your selections is no longer available, and your entry cannot be approved until you update it.
• Optional — a new option has opened up and you are welcome to take it, or leave things as they are.

What you get. A banner — red for mandatory, blue for optional — listing exactly what is affected in plain words: Age group, Optional routines, Compulsory routines, Group event, Duilian, Weight category. Then the whole form, prefilled.

It lasts 14 days.

What does not carry over

You will have to answer some things again

The prefill is partial. Name, surname, email, gender and discipline come back. Age group, routines, weight category, duilian and group-event choices do not — you must choose them again.

The email button says your details are already filled in. Take that as a starting point, not a promise. Read the whole form before submitting.

Files cannot be re-uploaded on these pages

The file picker appears and lets you choose a file, and the file is never sent. Nothing tells you this has happened.

If you need to replace a document, ask the organiser to do it for you.

If something goes wrong

What you see	What it means
Link not found	The link is wrong.
This link is no longer available	Past its date, or already used once. A link works one time only.
A validation error on submit	Your answers are re-checked in full against the competition as it now stands, exactly as a new entry would be.

What these pages cannot do

• They do not show or take a payment.
• They do not give you a new reference number — you get a plain Registration updated confirmation.
• There is no way to withdraw an entry. If you need to pull out, contact the organiser.
